ABOUT

This past summer, 12 young women and 6 chaperones travelled to the Dominican Republic, where we learned a lot about female empowerment, the Dominican culture and the strength that lies within us as future leaders. Our trip received a lot of local and national attention, due to a group of women traveling out of the country at the height of the D.R. tourist health scare. I took on the job of documenting our whole experience through my writing, working to capture our most inspiring and important moments. I created this public blog for our service group and local/national news outlet to pull experts from to announce our safe return and successful trip!
